Stati membri possono prendere misure di esecuzione delle azioni contro le banche

The Supreme Courtdecided on June 29 that New York's Attorney General can take judicial enforcement actions against national banks, the main problem being their high rates.
Comptroller of the Currency John Dugan affirmed that he is disappointed with the idea and the OCC will persist to look for ways to get a better collaboration with the states.
Edward Yingling, American Bankers Association president, said "The Supreme Court has decided to question the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency's (OCC) exclusive role as the regulator for national banks. "This decision, which invalidates the OCC's interpretation reflected in its regulation, changes over 140 years of settled law," he added.
States may take enforcement actions against banks.
